Celebrate NAIDOC Week at Fed Square from 7-14 July with free activities and events celebrating First Peoples culture and histories. This year's theme is 'Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud' represents First Peoples cultures' enduring strength and vitality.

Flag Raising Ceremony

Mark the start of NAIDOC Week in Victoria with a Smoking Ceremony, Welcome to Country, speeches, performances, and a minute's silence in honour of Elders and ancestors.

Koorie Youth Flick Festival:

Celebrate young First Nations filmmakers with screenings of winning films.

NAIDOC in the City

Enjoy performances by Briggs, The Deans of Soul, and more. There will be arts and crafts, a makers' market, and delicious food.

Shop over 25 stalls featuring art, craft, design, fashion, and more, with free workshops by First Peoples creatives.

NAIDOC Week celebrates the rich histories and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. Engage in meaningful activities and support celebrating First Peoples' identity and resilience.

All the above events are held at Fed Square, Main Square, where all dogs are welcome. Ensure they are kept on a lead, under control at all times and you pick up after them.
