Think rock garden.
Now blow it up to the size of a city square and make it float.
From 1 to 17 August, Prahran Square turns into a giant interactive sculpture thanks to Iwagumi Air Scape by ENESS. It’s an art experience that looks like tonnes of solid stone, but it’s actually air-filled and soft enough to lean on.
Dogs, kids, grandparents, everyone’s invited. And yes, it’s free.
By day, these massive inflatables feel like walking among ancient rock formations. By night, they light up in bursts of colour and sound. Birds, insects, wind, it all comes alive with a soundscape that changes as you move around it.
It’s art you don’t just look at. You can walk through it, touch it, and watch the square change as the sun goes down. And it’s bang in the middle of Prahran, so you can grab a coffee, a pastry, or a late lunch while you’re there.
